A third place Portland doesn't have. (yet)
Portland is a pinball city but every venue in Portland with pinball is bar-primary. None allow under 21 after 5pm. None of them are in the NE Albina/Alberta corridor. None serve teenagers as a primary mission. None are Black women-led.
Kickback Collective addresses all four gaps as a membership-based community space where pinball is the anchor, youth are centered, local artists show their work, and BIPOC-owned businesses rotate through a vendor program.
Learn some flippin’ skills
10 professionally maintained machines. Rotated regularly. Always on free play. Learn all about pinball, the strategies, the quirks, and the people.
Play in casual and competitive events
Pinball rewards practice and mentorship so come hang, watch a stream, listen to an interview, sit in on a tech session, record, stream, play pinball. Meet new people.
Connect with the pinball community
Sanctioned tournaments, experimental tournaments, leagues, maker events, and more. All ages.
A community and a space where everyone can be safe.
Safety is non-negotiable. We look out for each other.
Stay in the loop.
